Refund & cancellation policy

Non-Refundable Retainer

All booking retainers/deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including but not limited to event cancellation, date changes, weather, or client emergency. This retainer serves as liquidated damages to compensate for the reservation of the date, administrative setup, and loss of business opportunity resulting from holding the date exclusively for your event.

Written Cancellation Requirement

To officially cancel a booking, written notification must be submitted via email at least 60 days prior to the scheduled event date. Verbal cancellations or text messages will not be accepted.

  • Cancellations submitted in writing more than 60 days prior: The non-refundable retainer will be retained, but any additional payments made toward the remaining balance will be refunded.

  • Cancellations submitted within 60 days of the event: The remaining balance must be paid in full, and no monies paid will be refunded. Last-minute cancellations leave insufficient time to fill the reserved date, and the client remains contractually liable for the full contracted balance.

Payment Schedule, Failed Payments & Legal Remedies

All remaining balances are due exactly two (2) weeks prior to the event date and will be charged to the credit card on file (unless paid earlier via Zelle or Venmo). It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all payment details on file are accurate and up to date.

  • Late Payments & Failed Cards: If a card is declined, invalid, or payment is not cleared by the two-week deadline, a late fee of $25 per day will apply to the outstanding balance.

  • Breach of Contract: Failure to resolve an unpaid balance within 48 hours of the due date constitutes a material breach of contract, resulting in immediate cancellation of services and forfeiture of all monies paid to date.

  • Collections & Legal Action: In the event of non-payment, chargebacks, or fraudulent payment info, Pro Beauty By Joy G LLC reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including referral to collections or formal civil proceedings. The client shall be liable for all costs incurred in recovering unpaid balances, including reasonable attorney fees, court costs, and collection agency fees.
